Congratulations to our Councilwoman, Kathy Walsh for being honored as the Brookhaven Republican Woman's 2007 Woman of the Year. The gala event was held on Wednesday, December 5 at the Flaming Hearth in Farmingville. Kathy, who recently won re-election by an overwhelming margin, has been an outstanding representative of the people in the 3rd Ward. Surrounded by family and friends, and after receiving kudos from many of our elected Republican officials, Kathy promised to work even harder for the people of the 3rd Ward and expressed great joy that she will now be part of the Republican controlled Town Board.From all of us at Mid-Brookhaven Republican Club, thank you Kathy for all you do.
